Hi, I’m Anna 🙂 At the core of my work is the belief that healing happens in relationship; where you feel safe enough to be honest and supported enough to explore the parts of yourself that feel vulnerable or confusing. This means that you can expect therapy with me to include lots of warmth, humour, and genuine connection.

I come from a multicultural family (Brazilian and Canadian), which is just one aspect of my life that has shaped my appreciation for how culture, history, and lived experience influence who we are. I myself have lived through many beautiful seasons but have also experienced very impactful challenges, and it is these challenges and my own work in therapy that have led me to feel passionate about creating a safe space for others to explore their own unique life experiences; particularly experiences of grief, depression, trauma, and anxiety, as well as relationship challenges, identity questions, and life transitions.

My therapy space is somewhere where we pay attention to your emotions, your history, your relationships, and the different parts of you that developed to help you cope and survive. More than anything, our work is guided by your needs and what feels most meaningful in the moment. Together, we’ll untangle what feels hard and notice how past experiences may still be showing up in your body, your relationships, or the way you move through the world.

It’s important to me that therapy feels collaborative and organic – You are the expert in your own experience, and my role is to show up as a human being (not just a therapist) and sit with you as we work toward deeper understanding and meaningful change.
